Performances...are nerve racking.

i apologize for not writing anything for almost a week! it's been CRAZY busy lately!!! Okay, so...PERFORMANCE NIGHT!

On Tuesday we had our performance night at UCA! It was SO MUCH FUN! Well we got there 3 hours early for a walkthrough and we just mainly hung out and talked until we had to sing. So when it almost came time for the parents to start arriving, every student was in a tizzy trying to get into their uniforms! Once that was all done, people started arriving and i started getting nervous. The nervousness subsided after about 10 minutes and i was actually REALLY excited!!! That is until...i peek through into the sanctuary to see it almost filled. O_O. That's when the REAL nervousness started! I didn't think i would get as nervous as i actually got. My first performance was my Female Quartet and when we walked up there i tried my best to not act nervous, and when i looked on the tape my Dad recorded i didn't seem nervous...that is until i sang my brief solo. My voice wasn't normal like it usually is and it didn't sound very good. What happens when i get on stage is i'm nervous until i sing for a minute and then it mostly goes away. On my second solo i sounded good. When we walked off the stage my hands wouldn't stop shaking (aftereffects of nervous performing) and i had to sit down and calm myself! lol! Then i wasn't nervous in the Small Ensemble performance, or the Large Ensemble performance. We had a 30 minute break and pretty much went back to chaos. My next performance was a Mixed Quartet and i had to do the introduction which i was REALLY nervous about doing because i was afraid of messing up. I wrote down the introduction on my hand, too, just in case i blanked. On the way onto the stage i was pretty much staring at my hand and saying it in my head over and over again. When me, Ben, and JP got our microphones, something was wrong with Ellen's microphone and Mr. Counts had to go on stage and fix it! So me, Ben, and JP were just standing there trying not to laugh at the fact that of course it was US that had the technical difficulties! I was getting calm, though, during that brief waiting time and when i said our intro, i didnt sound very nervous!! We went through the song without messing up and it was all good after that! The other Large Ensemble song sounded great and then the night was over! Even though i went through all that nervousness and such, i wanna do another one!!! It was so fun! ^.^ Anyways, i hope you enjoyed reading my hard trial i went through!!

Hair. . .Specifically Mine.

My hair is so dark. Isn't it? It used to be just medium brown (well actually it was blonde when i was little) and over the past year it's gotten dark. I started realizing this when people i know began asking questions like, "Did you dye your hair?", "Wow, your hair is different!" and stuff like that! I guess i didn't REALLY realize it til like a month ago when i was looking at old pictures of me and my hair was lighter. I love/hate having dark hair. It makes me look emo (which i obviously don't like), and yet, it's pretty (when i'm having a good hair day lol). So yeah, now that this blog about hair is done, i'm gonna go brush my hair. ^.^

This Is So Unorganized!

I feel like crying. I have NO clue why though because nothing sad has happened!!! haha! it reminds me of last night when me, Tonya, and Amanda were wanting to watch a sappy movie that would make us cry cuz of it's sweetness! haha! yeah, last night we were really...weird. haha!!!

So last night after lots of planning and confusion, we had a surprise birthday party for TONYA!!! it was awesome if i do say so myself...and i especially loved decorating, even though we weren't able to decorate much! it was great! Tonya loved her presents which was a relief haha! And then we played a bunch of games and watched hilarious videos and all that jazz!

And today me, Tonya, and Amanda went to the MALL!!!! it was soooo much fun! we went into weird stores, scary ones (Hot Topic....*cringe*), and then we tried on dresses which were very pretty! ^.^ Overall, my weekend so far has been GREAT!

I really don't see why Tonya thinks i'm a germaphobe! Seriously, she thinks anyone who dislikes being sneezed on is a germaphobe...-_- i mean, is there anyone who likes being sneezed on? Really?? Yuck....yuck yuck yuckkk! Ugh! even the thought of it is disgusting!

Tomorrow i'm goin to church to sing my in the quartet with the Dooleys. i think we'll do good...if, ya know. i dont screw up that is! which is likely to happen. T_T

I miss people too much. Pretty much as soon as i say goodbye to one of my friends, i miss them. It really sucks at times! lol! But i guess i just love them that much! haha!

I guess that's gonna be all for tonight! Hope you enjoyed this tid-bit of useless blabbering! haha!

Friends...yes, you.

My friends are awesome. Chances are, if you're reading this and are one of my friends, then you. are. awesome. Embrace your awesomeness!!! I love every single one of my friends dearly! You guys mean everything to me! Even though, with some of you, we have arguments or fights or quarrels (yes, those are mostly the same i just added more for emphasis ^.^) i still love you guys! Here are some specific people's i would like to commemorate for their coolness!

Tonya!!! You my bestest buddy...are my bestest buddy! ^.^ We've had many...MANY arguments and spats but still, we love eachother and are still best buds! For all you people who haven't met this crazy, beautiful, bundle of joy, then you are missing out on knowing possibly one of THE coolest people ever! Oh and btw, she is an AWESOMEEEE dancer!! ^.^ Luv ya Tuna!

Amandaaaa! 'Tis your turn, dearest! You are my second bestest buddy! ^.^ Even though we had a very awkward beginning to our friendship, we now are close friends who always have fun together...in our weirdness! You are a very beautiful woman (i'm saying woman cuz you're so close to 18 haha) and i luv ya to death! ^.^ You're an amazingness photographer btw! ^.^

Kayla!! Wattup home slice? Srry i had a black moment. ANYWAY, you are a really good friend!! We always have a blast together (even when we are hurting/slapping/punching eachother haha) ...even tho we usually do nothing but make funny noises and throw a volleyball at eachother! haha! You are an amazing guitar player/songwriter and i know that you'll jsut keep gettin better so i can get jealous-er lol! Luv you!

Emilyy! Even though we've known eachother for like...a year, you're one of my closest friends! ^.^ i feel very privileged having you as a friend! Even through all your bluntness, and self-consciousness, i still luv ya and think you are very beautiful! Be awesome in your beautifulness! ^.^ Luv ya girl!

ELIZABETHHH! You are amazing! lol! You are probably the very easiest person to talk to about certain things *coughs* boys *coughs*...anyways! I'm so glad we're friends even though we've only seen eachother twice! haha! Still, you are an amazing person and i really think we should start the "Self Conscious Teenage Girls Anonymous" Organization haha! We REALLY need to get together soon to make some more E.E.E.K. moments! You are a crazy awesome dancer, too (you still need to teach me ballet, tho haha) Luv youuu!

The Dooleys!!! Specifically Ellen, not to leave out the boys and Mary! You guys are awesome, too! But Ellen is awesomer....SO! Ellen, you are a really good friend!! Boys...T_T dumb, i know.

So as i was talking to a friend, she said something that really made me think about something i never thought of before!!! When a teenage girl likes a boy, then she thinks about that boy ALOT! i remember not that long ago when i didn't like anybody...and i felt so free!!! like idk how to explain it! just like you weren't so consumed by them!

I especially like that feeling...alot! That's all i really have to say (since i HAVE to get off now...puh! parents!) Toodles!

*sighs dreamily* Raoul...

For those of you who have seen "The Phantom of the Opera", then i hope to hear your point of view on this subject. I have gathered the opinions from some of my friends and they disagree with me. You see, i think that Raoul has a MUCH better voice than the Phantom, who sang too huskily, and was much too moody for my taste! Raoul's voice was gentle, sweet, and just dreamy! So all in all, Raoul was the MUCH better singer! :]
